My blog has a new home and a new design, which is great, but getting here was a challenge.

My site crashed and I was down and out for 5 days.  They (my former blog host) worked on the server and I am sure they worked round the clock, but in the end the backup that was restored was 11 months old. LESSON LEARNED use Live Writer. Since I didn't use Live Writer to blog, I used Google Cached pages to rebuild some of my posts.

My past blog I used the OTTB Blog from SharePoint, I had a cool design applied and it was fairly easy to do, but I wanted more.  I wanted the flexibility of design that the EBE provided.  I wanted to use cool stuff on my blog and EBE allowed me to do that.  The EBE had exactly what I needed for my blog. Ease of customization with the power of SP.
